In this course, students created websites about a variety of environmental justice issues. This assignment allowed students to explore interactive ways to guide readers through material and enabled innovative forms of exposition and analysis beyond what was possible in their written research papers on the same topics. In their websites, students critiqued and analyzed their selected topics using theories, concepts and ideas from class readings and discussions. Students also integrated creative uses of environmental justice data (e.g. images, tables), videos, infographics, timelines and maps.
